I turned 50 last Sunday.
I had thought that by this time my life would be so "under control." But things are only more confused.
Perhaps, during the next 50 years, I can learn how to live in the moment and find joy in not knowing what comes next.

Happy Birthday!!
And when you figure out how to do that whole living in the moment thing, would you please let me know? Thanks...
Best wishes on the happy occasion - and welcome to the club.
No, we're all still in high school, unfortunately. We've just learned to be nicer to one another.....
!
Happy Birthday, dear friend.
when you learn how to do that, will you just send me an email or something and let me know how?
enjoy your birthday week. eat cake and stuff.
I think that state of confusion is a little something called life.
Happy Birthday!
Happy 50th Birthday.
I just turned 50 myself a few weeks ago. I am great at that living in the moment and not knowing what's nextthing. Ask Cheri. I just wing it. You can too. If you want to.
Have a great half century celebration!
Happy birthday. You look much younger than 50 and way classier than a receding mullet.
That should totally be a new birthday saying.
Happy Birthday! 50 is the new 40 which is the new 30 so really you're younger than me!
Happy 50th. I've given up control. Working with computers teaches you that...
You mean, life, can actually be, like, under control? Whoa. I guess these are the things you learn by 50.
Happy Birthday, new friend.
oh crap. You HAD to bring up 50. Well, at least YOU made it before I have to.
I like your quiet reflection. I could say the same things for my own number. The "not knowing what comes next" is quite possibly THE.HARDEST.THING.
Really.
Ever read my first post?
And, I just realized I had already commented on this post. My 32 year old brain is probably more warped than a 50+50 more year old.
Here's to living in the moment...
